You’re Better with Bronzer!
I’m a big believer in protecting my skin from the damaging effects of the sun but that doesn’t mean I don’t love the look of a safe summer glow. I find that powdered bronzer is the easiest and quickest way to wake up my complexion and add some natural-looking, lit-from-within color.
Bronzing 101:
- The color you choose should only be a few shades darker than your complexion, anything too dark, too orange or too shimmery will look dirty or fake.
- If you have oily skin or have recently applied moisturizer or sunscreen, begin with a base of translucent powder to avoid streaks.
- Using a wide, fluffy, rounded brush, swirl it in bronzer and tap off excess. Only apply where the sun hits naturally–your forehead, cheeks, bridge of nose and chin. Blend well.
- Add a touch of a warm, rosy blush to your apples for younger-looking radiance.
